HALLELUJAH!

What an absolute game changer!

TIKTOK PLAYLISTS

You organize every other part of your business – so why not tidy up your brand’s TikTok’s too?

TikTok introduced its playlists feature this year for users to sort their videos into relevant categories.

Why is it worthwhile for you to have TikTok playlists you might be wondering?

Well, users can find relevant videos from your profile that connect with their interests quickly and efficiently. An easier navigation around any social media page, is more appealing right?

You can create themed playlists for tutorials, tips, trends, or anything else that you want to show off about your business!

FACEBOOK’S ‘WORK ACCOUNTS’ FEATURE IS UNDER TEST

Okay so this feature may not have officially landed in 2021 but it will be arriving very soon – we hope!

Facebook is testing out a “Work Accounts” feature which should allow those with small businesses or multiple accounts linked to their profile to access business manager separately from their personal Facebook account.

Currently, you may be getting bombarded with notifications from business accounts, and it makes it difficult to switch off from work out of hours.

This feature should help you keep all your work in one place, and allow you to keep work to the working hours.

This one is still being tested and finalised, but should be arriving in 2022 – our social media marketing team are already buzzing!

LINKED IN’S JUMPED ON THE STORIES BANDWAGON

Linked In has followed in the footprints of fellow social media giants by introducing a stories feature.

The cover story option allows brands like yours to add an introductory video for people to view when visiting your profile.

This is great for your recruitment process – discovering key information about potential applicants.

It also allows you to promote your products and services on the platform which is great for B2B networking.

DECIDE WHO CAN REPLY TO YOUR TWEETS

This year Twitter brought out a new feature that allows you to decide who can reply to your tweets.

Let’s face it at times Twitter can be toxic, and there are some people who make it their main aim to troll.

However, by altering who can reply to your tweets, you can interact with the right people in a distraction-free way. Sounds ideal right?

To change who can reply to your tweets, simply tap the three dot menu on a particular tweet and search until the appropriate option comes up!
